Many Ranma 1/2 fans out there are inspired to write their own original stories set in the Ranma 1/2 universe. One of the Troop Leaders, Matthew Atanian, would now fit in equally well with the Girl Scouts as with the Boy Scouts. As for Aaron, he and his Troopmates, Mike Quadrozzi and the two Bills (Hughes and Gelinas) are discovering a whole new way to study the wildlife.

Will the five of them be able to live through a week of Summer Camp, suffering through dreaded swim tests, sudden rain storms, and squirrle-torturing fiends who lust after red-haired female Boy Scout leaders? In other words, we digress. Other times, we're on-topic on Ranma, and one topic stands out as a great debate that was argued, joked about, and fought over, and it sticks in our memories. It's only me, Christopher Lee Collins, a humble writer not unlike any other writer of fiction--though some may disagree with me one way or another--and I am now about to compose for you what I hope to be a fabulous Ranma tale about overcoming an overwhelming obstacle which Ranma and Akane will have to reconcile their differences and........... Oh Hell....... It's another story where Ranma and the gang end up beating the crap out of their enemy.

I've recently become a Ranma fan, tho not yet as fanatical as the friend who got my involved with Ranma in the first place, who incidentally is also writing a fanfic. (Yeah, he also has a bad habit of not finishing the stories he starts--at least five novels breaking off at chapter four--so he'll probably be finished by the time Hell freezes over.) I intend to follow Takahashi format as well as I can. If I screw up, then I guess I'll just have to go to Tokyo and live with them a few more years--no really, I had a place in the back (I just hardly came out, so you never saw me in the manga) (p.s. I think Akane likes me).

"Hi, this is my first fan-fic and I just wanted to say a few words......
Flame me, don't, whatever, I would love some feedback. This story got started by combining the idea of wanting somebody in Ranma 1/2 to play and sing 'Voices' from Macross Plus, thinking about how Ryoga can sing, and a picture of Ranma and Ryoga in tuxedos. Then I thought about doing a series of short, non-related stories on the "hidden talents" of the Ranma crew. For instance, maybe .... Kuno can do something besides Kempo, like.... (no, in his case poetry does NOT count, I mean do something well).. well, maybe he can sculpt or something. Or has a great singing voice. See what I mean? I'm really trying to find something that they can't just do, but do supremely well. Something that they are experts at and can do with passion, but they don't let anyone know they can. I'm open to suggestions on 'hidden talents' so if you have a great idea, just kick it my way.

As if things could get any worse, Akane receives a letter of acceptance from an acting school she really admires. Problem is, it's located halfway accross Japan.
